What we collect, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it.

Who we are
Melobleep is a trading name of Luke Tyler, Lakeside Edge, Peterborough, PE7 8RH. We are responsible for the personal information described here. Contact us at hello@melobleep.com.
What we collect
- When you buy. Your name, email address, billing country, what you bought and how much you paid. Your card details go straight to Stripe and we never see them.
- When you message us. Your name, email address and your message.
- When you visit the site. Like every website, the services that run this site record technical details such as your IP address and browser type in their logs. If you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics also records which pages you visit, roughly where you are (country and city), the device you use and how you found us.
- Your currency choice. If you pick a currency, your browser remembers it so prices show the same way next time. This stays on your device.
Why we use it
- To take payment, send your files, licence certificate and order email, and help if something goes wrong. This is needed to fulfil your order.
- To keep business and tax records, as the law requires.
- To reply to your messages, prevent fraud and keep the site secure. These are our legitimate interests.
- To understand how people find and use the site, so we can improve it. We only use analytics cookies if you agree.
We don't send marketing emails, and we never sell your information. If we ever start a mailing list, we'll ask before adding you.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of trusted services to run Melobleep:
- Stripe processes payments.
- Postmark sends order emails.
- Google Firebase hosts the site and stores orders and messages.
- Bunny.net delivers audio files and images.
- Google Fonts supplies the typefaces on the site.
- Google Analytics measures visits to the site.
Some of these services store or process information outside the UK, including in the United States. Where they do, they use the safeguards UK data protection law requires.
Cookies
We use Google Analytics cookies to count visits and see which pages are useful. They are only set if you click Accept in the cookie banner. If you click Reject, no analytics cookies are stored, and Google may still receive a basic, cookieless signal that a page was viewed, which can't be used to recognise you.
You can change your choice at any time using the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page.
We don't use advertising cookies. This site also remembers your currency choice and your cookie choice on your device. Stripe sets its own cookies on its checkout page to prevent fraud.
How long we keep it
We keep order records for six years, because tax law requires it. We keep messages for up to two years, then delete them.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your information, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Email hello@melobleep.com and we'll reply within one month. Some records, such as orders, we may need to keep for legal reasons.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
